Reception enjoyed a Theme Morning on Wednesday – learning all about Bees. 

A Theme morning is a wonderful opportunity for the students to delve deeper into an area of learning that they are fascinated about. The whole morning is spent uninterrupted in the exploration of a theme. A variety of activities are created for the morning that cover key areas of the EYFS curriculum such as Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

Some activities will be teacher-led with a direct learning objective in mind, and others where the learning is more open-ended, give the children the chance to explore and follow their own lines of inquiry.
