The Abbey School is an independent girls’ school with almost 1000 students. The school spends some £5m pa on external goods and services provided by scores of suppliers. The Purchase Ledger Clerk is responsible for managing the purchasing cycle after procurement, dealing with and recording invoices, authorisations, and payments.

This is a part time position (0.5 fte) working all year round. When working during term-time there is an opportunity to work around school hours and hours can be adjusted again during non-term time.
