One of the country's foremost independent girls' schools for 3-18 year olds

The Abbey is a remarkable all-girls community of learning and scholarship. It is a place of curiosity, adventurous spirits, and the excitement of discovery. We foster an atmosphere of warmth and support, full of fun and laughter. As a result we develop the assurance for students to take risks, explore interests and passions, and engage generously with the world in our girls-only environment.

Are you brave enough to ride the UK’s fastest rollercoaster? Well, some of our #LowerVI students did at Thorpe Park yesterday!

As part of their Philosophy and Theology criteria, they looked at how symbols, signs and people could influence visitor choices.

Our students had to grasp complex concepts, crack ideas, and learn about business ethics – all while having fun,of course!

What a throwback! At first glance, it may appear that our #UpperII students are simply having a pyjama dance party. However, they were actually deep in rehearsals for their production ‘Peter Pan’.

Here's an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their hard work and dedication from earlier this year.

Winners! Team M&S have been crowned overall winners of the @gainuk_org Investment Challenge 2024 - with a second Abbey team also finishing in the top 10. Not bad considering there were 108 teams from 45 GSA schools!

Congratulations to Aanya, Abbie, Charlie, Hayley, and Kashvi - who were supported through the spring term by Mr. Grant

The GAIN challenge aims to provide young women and non-binary students in Years 10 to 13 with a unique insight into the world of investment management and the skills needed to analyse a company.

Our talented Juniors, Myka, Sophie and Naomi recently competed in The Faldo Futures National Junior Golf tournament at Mapledurham!

They had to complete a 9-hole course in their age group.

All three students had a fantastic tournament with Myka and Sophie through to the regional round at The Belfry in August.

Well done!
