The opportunities that an Abbey education provides extends beyond just the academic excellence.

An integral part of The Abbey is encouraging students to use their talents to make a positive contribution to the wider community; supporting charitable causes and helping those less fortunate. These opportunities enable the students to develop their whole self and identify strengths they might not have known they had.

The Abbey offers girls the opportunity to experience such a wide range of activities which they might not have considered trying; from taking part in entrepreneurial challenges to the personal challenges faced on an international expedition.

Thanks to the bursary programme it was possible for my daughter to have these experiences. She is a bright and hard-working girl, and having the opportunity to go to The Abbey allowed her to flourish and reach her potential.

The support of the bursary fund will continue to allow girls access to an outstanding education that they might not otherwise be able to have. I believe that it also helps to keep a social balance within the school community resulting in a wider sense of inclusivity and understanding, where individuals’ talents and achievements are celebrated regardless of their background. This in turn leads to more girls being able to inspire others in the future.
