One of the Young Enterprise 2020 Teams from The Abbey, ‘All In’ have been successful in being awarded the Business Plan Award.

The team of Lower VI students designed and created a card game, ‘All In’, where their mission was ‘to stimulate children’s minds through movement and fun, quick questions and activities, enhancing their learning.’ They wanted to ‘encourage children and families to reconnect with each other and the world around them by getting increasingly technology dependent younger generations off their phones and devices and playing a game without a screen.’

Jill Lesbirel, the coordinator of Young Enterprise, was very proud of ALL IN:

‘I was delighted to receive the news earlier this week that ALL IN one of The Abbey’s Young Enterprise teams has won the Business Plan award in the Reading and Wokingham Area competition. All of our companies have worked extremely hard over the last term developing and launching their fantastic products. It was a close run competition but ALL IN’s well thought through business plan and SWOT analysis really impressed the judges! We are all aware of the pressures on the retail sector in these challenging times but the girls have tackled these problems with great positivity, energy and determination. Congratulations ALL IN!’
