This week, Upper IV were given an exciting introduction into the world of business with a visit from the Reading Young Enterprise team.
On Saturday 27 January, the U14 Netball Squad competed in the South Regional Netball Tournament at Wavell School in Farnborough.
On Saturday 20 January, a group of Abbey girls went to Newbury Showground to compete at the Berkshire Schools Cross Country County Championships.
Upper IV Spanish students focused on improving their Spanish through cultural activities and music heritage this week as they had a taste of Flamenco in their workshop run by ‘Canela Fina!’.
On Sunday 14 January 2018, five girls represented The Abbey in the southern semi-final of the National Chess Championships for Girls, held at St. Catherine’s School in Bramley.
In early December, a group of keen Abbey girls made their way to Saalbach, Austria for this year’s ski trip.
The Abbey’s History and German department’s joined together for a trip to Berlin this Christmas.
Last week, Lower IV had the pleasure of visiting Aachen at everyone’s favourite time of year, Christmas!
It has been an incredibly busy week for our Upper III girls who had their Christmas Pantomime on Monday, The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Wednesday and their end of term Christmas trip yesterday!
