Anoushka (UIII – Year 7) has published her first book of poems. The book contains 57 poems and has been compiled over the past four years. The poems range from topics such as nature, dreams, family and also reflections and thoughts from Anoushka herself. 

Anoushka has collaborated with the talented Tejas Modak, who has helped bring a select few poems to life with vibrant illustrations. Modak is also a poet, screenwriter and an acclaimed artist from Pune, India. Anoushka’s hopes for this book is that the reader will be taken along on a journey that will show the stages of growing up and interpreting life. 

Although she wants to become a pilot when she is older, Anoushka still intends on writing poems in her leisure time, which she has been doing since the age of 6.
