2020

April – due to compete at British Champs again in free, technical and combination team events and also in free duet and technical duet.

During lockdown this year a lot of training had to take place online. Club training started again over the summer when the pools were allowed to re-open. Alyssa attended a GB senior training camp in Bristol over the October half term.

Alyssa said, “I feel fortunate to have been able to travel to different counties to train and compete during my synchro career to date. I have had to learn to be self motivated and manage my time well in order to be able to train around 22 hours per week whilst keeping up with my academic studies during senior school. I have also learnt a lot about resilience from my experiences.”
