How long have you been at The Abbey, and in what department of the school? I have been at The Abbey for six years, I started as an Administrative Assistant and I am now the Administration Manager. 

What do you love the most about your job/working at The Abbey? I have many favourite things – the staff are all so friendly, the work varied and I love the social side of things, (if we can remember these) I also enjoy getting to watch the students perform in the various performances and gymnastics displays.

 Any memorable moments that stick with you over the years? Three days before I started at the Abbey, the then Office Manager called me to say that the inspectors would be in school the following week – my first week! It was quite daunting to be in a new job and to have the inspectors here. One memory that I would rather forget is the recent lockdown. 

On occasions I would need to be in the office and school is a strange and quiet place when no one is around. It is lovely to have everyone back and although things are still different with social distancing and bubbles it is great to feel that the school is full of life again.
