Born in January 1973, Miranda left The Abbey in 1991 to read Zoology at the University of Bristol.

Since graduating she has gone on to become one of the most well-known divers and naturalists in the UK, presenting on the BBC’s ‘Coast’ series and regularly appearing on The One Show to share her expertise. Jo Trott, our much-loved Biology teacher who sadly passed away in 2015, inspired Miranda’s passion for biology and botany, leading her into a career of science and sparking her interest in the natural world.
