There are over 350 companies in the UK that run Payroll Giving Schemes and over 250 of these, match or even double donations their employees make to a charity. Through payroll giving your donation is deducted from your salary before tax. Each £1 you give may only cost you 80p, 60p or even 55p if you are a higher rate taxpayer.

Your employer will then send your donation to their approved Payroll Giving Agency who will pass it on, plus any matched employer giving, to The Abbey. The good news for you is that you enjoy the tax-benefit upfront and donating to charity via a Payroll Giving Scheme, does not have to be reported on a Self-Assessment tax return.

Please check if your employer is on our list of participating companies here.

If not listed then please check-up with your HR or Payroll Giving company who will be able to provide you with the necessary details. Please do let us know and we will add your company to our list.

Please do take part in this scheme if it is available as it has advantages to all stakeholders concerned and can substantially add to your donation to the School.
