There was a heart-warming ambience at the Junior School on Monday afternoon as Lower I had some very special visitors. They had invited their grandparents to spend the afternoon with them so that they could gain an insight into the wonderful ways the girls learn and spend their time at School. Firstly, the girls took their grandparents on a grand tour of the School, ensuring that they didn’t miss any hidden entity - one grandparent especially appreciated being given directions to every toilet! After their thorough tour of the School, the girls and their grandparents were given a well-deserved rest before taking part in some Easter-themed activities, including the decorating of some very sparkly Easter eggs. To conclude the day, Lower I treated their grandparents to a lovely Spring-related song, followed by afternoon tea where much laughter and conversation accompanied the delicious cakes and sandwiches.
