With the flick of a wand (and a lot of hard work from our dedicated Catering Team), the Junior School Hall and Dining Room were transformed into the Great Hall of Hogwarts for our Junior girls’ Christmas lunch. Dressed in Hogwarts’ robes and sporting Harry Potter glasses and wands, girls gathered with friends at long, candlelit tables to enjoy a stupendous lunch. Staying true to the Harry Potter theme, the menu featured Butterbeer to start, roast turkey or pumpkin for the main course, and an array of puddings including Polyjuice jelly and Bertie Bott’s jelly bean cookies. As an extra treat, lunch was made that bit better by being served by the teachers, including Head of the Junior School Mrs D-C! With Christmas hats on heads, the hall was filled with festive cheer as the sound of laughter and crackers being pulled rang throughout. It was a truly wonderful way to round off the Autumn term.
