On Friday 24th March, both Transition classes enjoyed a trip to the Winchester Science Museum. The girls participated in a workshop where they learned all about electricity, acting as the different parts of a circuit and had a go at being ‘Electrical Engineers’ by using a test kit to find the problems with the different circuits. All the girls loved this hands on activity and learned a lot about successfully creating a circuit. In addition to this, they had the opportunity to explore all the exhibits that the museum has to offer and particular favourites were the ‘Little Big Room’, the parachutes and the sound distortion room. A busy but fantastic day was had by everyone and the girls all loved the different scientific experiences the museum offered them.
