The Abbey School is an independent girls' school in Reading, Berkshire, which offers a broad and balanced education for academically able girls from the early years of the Nursery through to the Sixth Form. With excellent teaching facilities and a wide range of subjects, girls are

The month of June saw House Spirit at The Abbey School soar as girls of all ages took part in the various Sports Days. [more »]

On 15-19 June, The Abbey Junior School held its third annual Eco Week. During the week there were workshops on Endangered Animals and Caring for the Environment including a series on renewable energy. [more »]

The singers and musicians of The Abbey and Reading School collaborated in a wonderful concert at St. Giles earlier this term. 2009 marks a very special musical anniversary year with great composers enjoying significant milestones. The combined choir and orchestra performed pieces by Purcell (born 1659), Handel (died 1759) and Haydn (died 1809). [more »]
